WHY

Collin has extensive family roots and appreciation for Door County. His mom was born on an apple orchard outside Fish Creek in the building that is now the home of Sweetie Pies, and his grandparents owned and operated several businesses, including the orchard, building the Lull-Abi Motel in Egg Harbor, and Johnny’s Cottage Restaurant

in Sister Bay.

With roots like this, it only seems

fitting that Collin was called back to

own and operate an inn &

restaurant, just as

his grandparents did

for so many years. Roots Inn &

Kitchen was established 

in the spring of 2016.
